Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB ofShould Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Grab your current read

Open to a random page

Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I am in the middle of three books right now, but chose the fiction book for this teaser: Love's First Light by Jamie Carie, page 175:

When she still looked torn, Stacia continued. "I will better deal with Robespierre if he comes home. We must keep Christophe hidden from the man. No one must know he is still alive and in Paris."

I haven't gotten this far in the book yet, so I am very eager to keep reading....I will post a review later this week.

I've read Wind Dancer and recently read Angel's Den and I enjoyed those. I've been wanting to read this one. I started it months ago but had to return it to the library because I didn't have time to finish. I really like the time period of the French Revolution too. Great teaser.

I enjoy Christian fiction too, especially historical fiction. I read mostly Christian fiction and YA fiction. My teaser this week is from a YA fiction book.
