lumen

 

I am half way through Memoria as I write this, so again, I have to be careful not to cross books!!  The title of the second edition of The Nightengale Trilogy refers to Cassius Veras who is a "lumen" which means he has a gift of revealing the truth when others are speaking.  Cass might be my favorite, but I am afraid to say that because I don't know what is coming.  I don't really enjoy love triangles because someone is going to get hurt, so I am very worried about where this is going. That being said, I am fully invested and need to know if our beloved trio will achieve their goals and how it will happen.  

I never mentioned who the first book referred to:  Calor is Dorian Ashwood (Or Lord Adamo) who has a gift of bestowing courage on others and persuading others.  And the final book, entitled "Memoria" refers to our heroine, Sephone Winter who is able to see into peoples minds and alter their dreams and/or memories.  You can read my thoughts on Calor here, and I will post about Memoria tomorrow!
