Fun Book! I love a book that is just a little different than any I've read and this one is a book within a book:so cool! When Michael Warner's grandfather dies, he finds himself with quite an inheritance. While he did get a "new" old historical home to live in and enough money to retire, that was not what he was most excited about. His family knew little of his grandparents beginnings and a few were hoping to learn the truth following his grandfather's death. Gerard Warner, a bestselling novelist, left an unpublished manuscript and a journal with a few cryptic messages for Michael to find and decipher. While I did "figure things out" pretty early on, I totally enjoyed the journey.
The Discovery is a well written story, with interesting history and characters that you will fall in love with. I highly recommend this novel.
