My Thoughts:
I am still reading this one! I should finish it today, but here are my initial thoughts. A Marvelous Redeemer is the third book in a series, and I did not read the first two. I di have a little trouble figuring out who everyone was and how they were connected. By itself, A Marvelous Redeemer grabbed me on page one and drew me in. My heart hurt at young Amira's plight, but the message that God is with you in the trials is one we all need reminded. There is some trite language and clichés in the story, but for the most part, I really enjoyed the setting. I also appreciated the scripture references used to encourage different characters along their journey; although, it can come across as a little "preachy" at times. Scripture is not the only way that the Lord encourages, so it could have been changed up a little. Overall, I love the premise and like the book.
