The Lightkeeper's Bride

In The Lightkeeper's Bride, Mercy Falls has a new lightkeeper, Will Jesperson.  Under suspicious circumstances, he meets Katie Russell.  The two end up caring for an abandoned baby, and investigating a missing woman and pirate attacks.  Like the first book, there is a search for truth amid various trials.  There is a sweet romance.  Katie finds love, but more than that, she finds peace by resting in the Lord's love and care. I enjoyed the characters, but I would have liked a little more detail--maybe in backstory.  The plot moved along nicely, but I did have a couple of questions at the end of the book (what happens with Phillip?)  Overall, another extremely enjoyable read by Coble.  Look for my review of Lightkeeper's Daughter here.  And Lightkeeper's Ball to come next!
