In the third book of The Rayne Tour books, Shaley and Rayne O'Connor are preparing for Rayne's wedding to Gary, who is Rayne's teen love and Shaley's dad. Before the wedding can take place, Shaley is kidnapped. The book follows Shaley and her kidnapper, and Rayne, Gary and Shaley's friends as they deal with this situation.
I remember the first time I read Brandilyn Collins, I was struck by the quality of writing. I don't know if I had ever read a suspense book with such a literary writing style. This book, being a young adult title did not have the same use of language, but I enjoyed the book. I have not read the first two books in the series, but I was able to follow along fine. It is plot-driven and fast-paced. There is a solid underlying theme of relying on the Lord through trials. I would definitely recommend this book to teens who like suspense books.
