In my Mailbox Monday...

In my Mailbox Monday originates from two blogs: The Printed Pageand The Story Siren. I am using it to highlight any books that come into my house the previous week, whether they are from the library, from a store, from a friend or actually in the mailbox.

There nothing like receiving surprise books in the mail! I had signed up to judge for a contest a while ago and totally forgot! So I was more than pleased to see a book-shaped package on my doorstep this week containing...

Also, we made a trip to the library this week, coming home with 8 picture books, an Elmo CD, a Veggie Tale movie, and 2 books for me. For myself, I got the first book in the young adult series, Mandie, by Lois Gladdy. They've been around forever, but I have never read any of them. I figured I'd check it out. I started reading it to my daughter, but I think she is a little young.

Also, I got out The Secret by Beverly Lewis, (which will be reviewed this week).
